Place

01

Place

Region, plot and building type frame every decision. Nothing is standardised across islands or coastlines.

02

Property

Layout, draw-off points, storage and existing installation define where a system can sit.

03

Water

The water profile of the property is the starting point of the configuration, not a product catalogue.

OXYSPIN

AQUA AID SYSTEM

OXYSPIN GmbH is the product brand behind the AQUA AID SYSTEM. The system is modular and configured per project.

AQUA AID DUO modules on a stainless steel mount
AQUA AID DUO
  • AQUA AID MAGNET XL stainless steel housing
    01

    AQUA AID MAGNET

Permanent magnet module. The module itself needs no electricity, and minerals remain in the water.

  • AQUA AID FILTER stainless steel filter cylinders on a wall panel
    02

    AQUA AID FILTER

Stainless steel cylinder with filter and adsorption media selected for the configuration. Target substances are only named with a project-specific analysis.

  • AQUA TASTE PLUS+ stainless steel swirler
    03

    AQUA TASTE PLUS+

Stainless steel swirler at a selected water point. Closed multi-chamber geometry, no moving parts, no electricity for the component.

Not every project needs every module. The configuration follows the property.

AQUA AID

Three parts, configured as one system.

AQUA AID MAGNET XL, stainless steel housing
01AQUA AID MAGNET

Physical scale transformation — without desalination.

Calcium and magnesium ions remain in the water. Neither a softener nor a desalter.

Technical detail

Defined field zones of a permanent neodymium-iron-boron magnet. A multipolar arrangement creates successive field sections with defined strengths and gradients along the water path. What changes is the crystallisation form of calcium carbonate: away from hard, strongly adhering calcite and toward less-adhering aragonite and vaterite structures.

AQUA AID two-cylinder stainless steel unit
02AQUA AID FILTER

Stainless-steel cylinder with a layered architecture.

Media are tuned to the raw-water profile, referenced to TrinkwV and EU Directive 2020/2184.

Technical detail

An electropolished cylinder in surgical-grade stainless steel. Inside, the filter does not work as a single-material filter but as a structured layered system with up to twenty layer components — each with a defined task: adsorption, particle retention, flow guidance, separation or specialised binding.

AQUA TASTE PLUS+ stainless steel swirler
03AQUA TASTE PLUS+

Hyperbolic Funnel System — multi-chamber swirler.

No moving parts, no electricity, no chemistry.

Technical detail

A stainless-steel swirler directly at the tap. Water is guided through whirls and counter-whirls, flow profiles are smoothed and oxygen is integrated. Produced by industrial additive manufacturing (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) in surgical-grade stainless steel — free-form flow channels that cannot be cast or machined.

From the house entry to the water outlet

Where the modules sit in the building — read as a placement diagram, not as a statement about treatment performance.

Placement only. Every project layout is defined on site.

  1. Stainless steel pre-filter and secure tank at the house entry01 / 04 · Entry

House entry, pre-filter and secure tank

The first technical stage: primary pre-filtration against sand, rust and sediment, in a corrosion-resistant vessel with service-friendly access.

  2. Second stainless steel secure tank next to the rooftop storage02 / 04 · Storage

    Storage and second secure tank

Existing storage infrastructure is integrated rather than replaced. A second protected stage can follow the tank.

  3. AQUA AID MAGNET XL installed on a distribution line03 / 04 · Distribution

    Whole-house distribution

Magnetic conditioning across the distribution, on cold and hot lines, from entry through to the point of use.

  4. Under-sink AQUA AID unit at the kitchen water point04 / 04 · Point of use

    Kitchen, bath and shower

The point-of-use unit sits concealed under the sink or behind the wall; the swirler finishes the water at the outlet.

Recommended magnet spacing: approximately one unit every ten metres of pipe run.

What a configuration addresses

The key substance groups — tuned to raw water and target profile.

  • Chlorine and chlorine by-products
  • Pesticides
  • Glyphosate and AMPA
  • Pharmaceutical residues
  • Organic compounds
  • Heavy metals
  • PFAS-relevant compound groups
  • Asbestos fibres
  • Limescale (crystal-form control)

Scope is configuration-specific. For microbiological safety, approved barrier or disinfection stages are required; redox-active media are not positioned as a stand-alone microbial control solution.

Minerals are deliberately retained — they are function, not contamination.

Which substance groups a system addresses depends on the configuration, the raw-water analysis and the target profile. The overview shows the typical scope of addressed substance classes.

Materials and Manufaktur

Filter-media selection follows technical function, not marketing logic. Every component is placed where its specific task is needed.

Material 01

Wood-based activated carbon

Taste, odour, organic trace substances.

Details

Extruded granular activated carbon from beechwood with a fine micro- and mesopore structure. Adsorbs taste and odour compounds, residual disinfectants such as chlorine, and many organic trace substances.

Material 02

Silver-impregnated activated carbon

Adsorption and hygiene stabilisation.

Details

Granular activated carbon from coconut shells with a controlled silver coating. Inside the filter bed it works as an adsorption layer and as a hygiene stabiliser, especially where water sits at times or usage fluctuates.

Material 03

Mineral granulates

Fine filtration and specialised tasks.

Details

Natural alumino-silicate zeolite complements the activated carbon in fine filtration and turbidity reduction. Where required, selective adsorbers are added for inorganic substance groups.

Own production

Connection nipples in surgical stainless steel are manufactured in-house; support and sealing surfaces are worked out for permanently reliable tightness.

Honeycomb outlet grille

Hundreds of mathematically condensed micro channels order the flow at the transition from the swirl chamber into an even outflow.

Individual inspection

Each part is checked for tightness together with its cylinder unit — individually, and only released afterwards.

Material quality and compliance

The framework the system and its media are designed and documented against.

  • Drinking water

The system is designed for standard-compliant mains drinking water. Materials and media are selected so that no inadmissible substances are released, aligned with the German Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV) and EU Directive 2020/2184.

  • Material assessment

Organic materials evaluated in line with KTW-BWGL, metallic materials in accordance with UBA evaluation principles and the 4MS approach; polymeric supports and seals with contact-compliance documentation.

  • Third-party certification

Selected adsorber media are available with NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 (Health Effects), NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 (Lead Content) and WQA Gold Seal documentation.

  • Hygiene and operation

Initial flushing is part of commissioning. Defined replacement intervals and maintenance routines are integrated into the operating concept.

  • Quality assurance

Quality control runs within an ISO 9001 framework, with batch logic and traceability. Safety data sheets are available on request.

  • Further guidelines

Individual components comply with HACCP food hygiene principles, Halal and Kosher guidelines, the US Food Chemicals Codex and EN 12915-1 within the German drinking-water context.

Configuration-specific compliance documents can be provided on request.
